Glee leaves no fairly popular pop, rock or R&B song untouched. Most recently the musical sitcom took on My Chemical Romance's latest single "Sing". The track comes from the group's 4th studio album Danger Days: The True Lives of The Fabulous Killjoys, which dropped this past Fall via Reprise Records. You'll be able to see/hear the song in this week's upcoming episode, which will air February 15th on Fox. Other shows such as American Idol have been giving the song love as well. Big Troubles have quitely made the new video for their song "Georgia" available for your viewing pleasure. The trippy four minute montage was directed by Alexander Lezzi and can be viewed above. The track is off the Ridgewood group's debut LP Worry, which dropped this past September via Olde English Spelling Bee. The album made our Staff's Best of 2010 list. That means you should pick it up! Sort of surprisingly, MTV Brazil has taken a liking to the NJ lo-fi group. Also, don't forget Lou Reed loves them too. Big Troubles have a bunch of big area shows coming up. Bon Jovi @ Starland Ballroom 1.27.11

Bon Jovi @ Starland Ballroom (Photos by Joe Papeo)

More Photos Here

Bon Jovi played a benefit show for Parker Family Health Center this past Thursday, January 27th. The Red Bank based charity is a volunteer-based, free health care facility where Monmouth County residents without medical insurance can go for treatment. Tickets for the all will-call sold out show went for $250 a pop. The Sayreville native played a generous 23 song set made up of mostly covers, which ranged from The Beatles to Linda Ronstadt to Foundations. Bon Jovi's full Starland Ballroom setlist along with some videos of his performance can be found below. Tris McCall of The Star-Ledger wrote an in-depth review of the show. I highly recommend checking that out here. Excerpt of the write-up below.

The veteran rocker didn’t preach at the 90-minute Jon Bon Jovi and Friends concert. He simply told the audience what the Parker Family Medical Center means to him and to his family, praised a few doctors by name, and let the songs do the talking. Most of these were covers. Bon Jovi led a 17-piece band through enthusiastic renditions of rock standards ("Start Me Up," "So You Want to Be a Rock ’n’ Roll Star") and blues classics ("See See Rider," "634-5789"). Southside Johnny joined him for four numbers, including a convincing duet rendition of Sam and Dave’s "Hold on, I’m Comin.’ " A few of these interpretations were awkward — Bon Jovi’s industrial-strength pipes do not easily wrap around a song as sultry as "Oh, Pretty Woman." Others, like a boisterous version of "Glad All Over" by the Dave Clark Five, flashed a rare glimpse of Bon Jovi the pop geek. Only deep into the set did he turned his attention to his own material, performing hits such as "Prayer," "Wanted Dead or Alive" and "You Give Love a Bad Name." [Tris McCall]
