Watch Bon Iver perform & Kristen Wiig impersonate Lana Del Rey on 'SNL'

Last night’s Channing Tatum-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live featured a couple of great performances by Bon Iver and a hilarious Lana Del Rey sketch. Justin Vernon and his crew (including saxophonist Colin Stetson) performed two songs from last year’s self-titled album, “Holocene” (“Song of the Year” Grammy nominee) and “Beth/Rest”.

Since SNL had the attention of the hipster community anyway, it seemed like an appropriate time to make fun of Lana Del Rey. In the middle of the “Weekend Update” segment Kristen Wiig let out a screech and came on stage doing a very accurate Lana Del Rey impression. The sketch made fun Del Rey’s vocal style but also took a defensive look at the extreme criticism she received for her lame SNL performance a few weeks ago. As she says, “based on the public response, I must have clubbed a baby seal while singing the Taliban national anthem”. Watch both Bon Iver songs and the LDR sketch below.
