Throbbing Gristle & Factory Floor working on collaborative album - 'Transverse'

Three British avant-garde musicians have joined forces for a super minimal new album. Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti of the industrial Throbbing Gristle and Nik Colk/Nik Void of the avant-dance Factory Floor are putting their heads together for Mute Records. The trio is collaborating on a new album entitled Transverse, which is due out March 27 (a day earlier in the UK). Mute explains the albums thusly:
"Created especially for the legendary Short Circuit presents Mute festival at the Roundhouse, London in 2011, the tracks were prepared in the studio and then performed and recorded live in front of an audience. Outside of the trio, these recordings were unheard prior to the festival and the popularity of the performance left many being turned away at the door."
