Music video: Islands - "Hallways"

Phonographs are insane — that seems to be the message of Montreal indie-pop band Island’s new music video for “Hallways”. The Lex Halaby and Toben Seymour-directed video takes a look into the skeletal good-times inside that horn. The clip starts out with Islands/The Unicorns/Th’Corn Gangg/Reefer/Human Highway frontman Nicholas Thorburn looking dapper and wandering around some sort of creepy junk shop. He stumbles upon an old record player, gets pulled inside and starts jamming out with some skeleton puppets.
It’s a great video and the song itself, “Hallways”, is one of the best songs from Islands’ latest album, A Sleep & A Forgetting (which came out just last week via ANTI-). Check out the “Hallways” music video below.
