Coldplay to bring Robyn, Metronomy & Emeli Sandé on tour

Pop megastars Coldplay have invited several unexpected artists to open for their upcoming worldwide tour. Most notably, Swedish synth-pop legend Robyn will open up for all of their U.S. and Canadian shows from June 22 to July 9. London alt-rock band Wolf Gang will also open for all of those dates.

Then, from July 23 to August 11, Marina and the Diamonds and Emeli Sandé will open up at all of Coldplay’s shows. Prior to that, British wonky-pop four-piece Metronomy and New York psych-folk sisters The Pierces will open up at all North American shows in April and May.

Before the six month tour even begins, Coldplay will play alongside comedians Russell Brand, Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, Sarah Silverman, Jon Stewart, Jason Sudeikis, Reggie Watts, and Kristen Wiig at Radio City Music Hall for Amnesty International’s Policeman’s Ball. Check out Coldplay’s full tour schedule below.
