Metric reveal new album - 'Synthetica'

Canadian four-piece Metric have announced plans for a fifth studio album entitled Synthetica. The day after finishing their tour in support of Fantasies, Metric apparently started working on this new full-length.

Emily Haines and crew are self-releasing Synthetica via the newly founded Metric Music International imprint on June 12. They reportedly recorded Synthetica at Electric Lady Studios in New York with production from their own guitarist James Shaw. Metric hasn’t given out any details yet about the album’s singles, art, tracklist, or accompanying tour.
