Lou Reed announces 'From Velvet Underground to Lulu' European tour

In rather surprising (and exciting) news, Lou Reed has announced the "From VU to Lulu" European tour. The Velvet Underground mastermind will kick off his trek in Luxembourg on June 6th and wrap things up July 5th in Trencin, Slovakia, but not before hitting a slew of festivals and other big and small cities throughout the continent.
As you may have guessed from the tour's title Reed & Co. will perform material from his entire catalogue, spanning from his days with the Velvet Underground to his recently released collaborative album with Metallica. The run will feature a five-piece band, including Lou Reed, Tony ‘Thunder’ Smith(drums), Rob Wasserman (bass), Kevin Hearn (keyboards), and Aram Bajakian(guitar).
