Zammuto to tour with Explosions in the Sky

Last week Austin post-rock four-piece Explosions in the Sky announced a string of mostly West Coast shows. Now Zammuto have announced they will join Explosions in the Sky for all of their dates except Coachella. Zammuto is the new project from Nick Zammuto, one half of the recently broken up avant-garde duo The Books. The new band is working on a self-titled debut album, which is due out April 3 via Temporary Residence.

As previously announced, the tour will start in Boulder on April 5 and end in San Antonio on the 24th, hitting cities in Colorado, Utah, Montana, Oregon, Nevada, California, and Arizona in between. Zammuto will also be playing the Ecstatic Music Festival at Merkin Hall in New York City on February 23 without Explosions in the Sky. Take a look at Zammuto’s full tour schedule below.
