Eleanor Friedberger announces tour dates

Eleanor Friedberger, one half of brother-and-sister indie pop duo The Fiery Furnaces, has released a rather extensive tour schedule. Friedberger will join the Portlandia tour from this Sunday, February 19, through the 24th as the “Special Guest Musician”.

After that Friedberger will play South By Southwest and a show in Marfa, Texas entirely on her own. While in Texas, she and Gory Smelley of Marfa Recording Company will record a new EP. Then, from April 18 to May 6, she’ll travel around with fellow Brooklynites and Merge Records artists Hospitality.

The whole tour supports Friedberger’s debut solo album, Last Summer, which came out back in July via Merge. Take a look at the full tour schedule below.
