Check out Damon Albarn's remix of Lana Del Rey's "Born to Die"

It’s been a while now since Lana Del Rey released “Born to Die”, her collaboration with Damon Albarn and Bobby Womack. Now Albarn has released his own take on the track, the “PDP 13 Remix”. Albarn (who fronts Blur, Gorillaz, and the supergroup Rocketjuice and the Moon) reportedly recorded with Del Rey and Womack back in October. Albarn’s remix is a couple minutes longer, and way more fun than Del Rey’s original. Now instead of Del Rey’s vocals, it’s a heavy beat and a faint electric piano track that guide the song.
Albarn’s remix is available today as a part of the “Born to Die” single alongside takes by Clams Casino and Woodkid. The full Born to Die album drops next Tuesday, January 31 in the U.S. (and a day earlier in the UK) via Stranger/Interscope. Listen to Albarn’s remix, followed by Clams Casino and Woodkid’s versions and the original.
