According to her friend and manager, Lupe De Leon, Etta James has passed away at the age of 73 after a long battle with leukemia. As CNN reports: "She was diagnosed with leukemia in 2010, and also suffered from dementia and hepatitis C. James died at a hospital in Riverside, California. She would have turned 74 Wednesday."
The acclaimed and vastly popular singer's career spanned over six decades and included (but, not limited to) hits: "At Last", "Sunday Kind of Love", "I'd Rather Go Blind" and "Something's Got A Hold On Me".
