Universal signs Azealia Banks

Harlem rapper Azealia Banks just got super rich. The 20-year-old tweeted earlier today “God just dealt me a new hand today ... I am now officially signed to Universal Music”. Banks is now on the label of Erykah Badu, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, and many other very wealthy individuals.

Banks made a splash with the single “212”, but has yet to release a full album. She also tweeted today, though, “album in May? June possibly?” followed immediately by the possible hint “My birthday is in May”. Watch the “212” video below.
