Dr. John announces new album - 'Locked Down'

71-year-old Bluesman Dr. John just announced a new full-length, entitled Locked Down. Dr. John is working on the record with Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys. Auerbach was in charge of production on Locked Down, which was recorded last year in Nashville.

In a press release, Auerbach stated that while recording the album, “something special seemed to be happening and everyone involved could sense it. For my money, Mac’s one of the greatest who ever was and who ever will be”. Locked Down comes out April 3 via Nonesuch Records.
