Kendrick Lamar's debut full-length is ready

West Coast rapper Kendrick Lamar recently announced that his official debut album is ready. Lamar told The Source that the album, entitled Good Kid in a Mad City, is “my blood sweat and tears—something I’ve been working on my whole life. It’s ready right now, but I wanna make sure it’s 110% ready”.

Section.80, Lamar’s latest mixtape, came out back in July via Top Dawg Entertainment. Unlike Section.80, Lamar really considers Good Kid his debut album, with "its own entity, its own space". Take a look at The Source’s interview with Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock below.
