Atomic Tom @ Santos Party House 1.12.12 (review, setlist, video)
Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 1:08 PM
A packed house is what awaited Atomic Tom on a dreary Thursday evening. The rain didn't stop people from lining up outside Santos Party House awaiting a night of drinks and great live music. The Blue Pages really set the mood for the evening as the band had the kind of performance made for arenas. The Brooklyn rockers recently released their new EP Rich With Love. You can check it out here and keep your eyes peeled for this talented group.
DJ Kalkutta spun a variety of interesting mashups which got the crowd dancing. Cash Cash were up next and kept the party going with their brand of electronic rock. The band released their latest album Love or Lust last Spring and recently did a Brazilian tour with Stereo Skyline. The band has been busy doing production/mixing work for several artists such as Cobra Starship and Set it Off.
Everyone crowded around the stage waiting for NYC's own Atomic Tom to go on. One by one, each member came on stage before heading into the track "The Moment" which got everyone singing along. The band performed cuts from The Moment, their new EP In Parallel and covered the Human League hit "Dont You Want Me?". You can check out their setlist as well as video from the evening below.
