New Olivia Tremor Control - "The Game You Play Is in Your Head, Parts 1, 2, & 3"

The Olivia Tremor Control, a psych-rock band from the 1990s, released a new track today titled "The Game You Play Is in Your Head, Parts 1, 2, & 3". The Olivia Tremor Control was part of the well-known Elephant 6 Collective that was based in Athens, Georgia, and features bands such as Neutral Milk Hotel and Elf Power. The OTC's new single is almost eight minutes long and transitions into three different songs. It sounds quite a bit like old OTC, which is not a bad thing, and just gets better the longer you listen. The band is currently touring but this is the first music released they have released since 1999. This news and the return of Jeff Mangum proves that the end of 2011 is turning out to be the Elephant 6 revival. Check out the track over at NPR.
