Woody Guthrie tribute 'Note of Hope' to feature: Lou Reed, Tom Morello, Nellie McKay & more.

A new Woody Guthrie tribute slated to be released this fall will feature: Lou Reed, Tom Morello, Nellie McKay and more taking on some of the folk innovator's lesser known works. The late musician's daughter, Nora Guthrie and bassist Rob Wasserman gathered up the esteemed group of artists to take on twelve Guthrie tracks, most of which were either unpublished or contained only lyrics. The album titled Note of Hope is set to hit stores on September 27th via 429 Records.
