The Promise Ring to possibly reunite?

The Promise Ring drummer Dan Didier, during a recent interview with Punknews regarding his other band Maritime, hinted at the possibility of a TPR reunion tour.

“[T]here has been talk, possibly 2012, to do a get together tour or show. It’s always been on the back burner for a while cause when we did that one reunion show for Flower 15 [at Metro in Chicago in 2005] we were ... it was—we had a great time. There are a lot of things up in the air. There’s really no decisions being made but no one wants to push it forward either because it’s a low priority. There is talk but nothing certain. It may or may not happen.”

The Milwaukee indie/emo/rock group became inactive after their 2002 release wood/water. The quartet reunited for one show only, Flower 15 Festival in 2005.
