Jeff Mangum & others performed as The Soap Scums (video)

Jeff Mangum, Elf Power's Laura Carter, Olivia Tremor Control's Peter Erchick, John Fernandes, and Eric Harris performed under the name The Soap Scums at Athens, Georgia's AUX Festival this past weekend. The indie-rock supergroup of sorts gave a rather unconventional performance. Video of the masked group doing their thing can be viewed below. As you probably already know, the Neutral Milk Hotel frontman is set to perform a round of sold out solo tour dates this Fall, including appearances at Asbury Park's ATP Festival. Via P4k.
