The Antlers new album 'Burst Apart' is up for streaming

The Antlers new album Burst Apart is currently available to be streamed. You can listen to the Brooklyn group's fourth studio album over at NPR. Burst Apart is set to be officially released Tuesday, May 10th via Frenchkiss Records. Check out all of the many pre-order options at the band's website. A bit about the album can be found below.

Fortunately for The Antlers, this unscripted approach worked. While Hospice was a carefully plotted album with a unifying theme — Silberman's elegy to a dying friend — the new Burst Apartis a collection of discrete songs that sound great together but aren't bound by a particular concept.

"I tend to think of the songs on Burst Apart as being a picture of a period of time in my life," Silberman says. "Less like one story and more like a change in a way of thinking over time. It begins in a pretty negative, anxious place, at arm's length — and as it progresses, it becomes warmer and more trusting."
