The Vans Warped Tour have announced this year's main stage acts. A Day To Remember, The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexandria, 3OH!3 (June 24th-July 6th, July 12th-July 23rd), Gym Class Heroes (July 21st-August 14th), Against Me! (June 24th-July 7th, July 19th-July 31st), Attack Attack and August Burns Red will perform on the main stage. Recently announced main stage bands include D.R.U.G.S., Pepper, Jack's Mannequin and Less Than Jake. You can purchase presale tickets for this years Warped Tour here.

The major announcement came at the end of the night at the Van's Warped Tour Press Conference, which was being held for the first time on the East Coast, in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn at The House of Vans (more about its October 2010 opening). The night was filled with music, friends, fun, and of course, skateboarding, pizza, and tacos. The evening was kicked off by a meet-and-greet type of press conference including The Wonder Years, The Narrative, Lionize, Moving Mountains, MC Lars, and visual artist, Kaves, that will be performing at the Van's Warped Tour this summer. In the 24,000 square foot warehouse-turned-skatepark, equipped with ramps, rails, and a giant vacant swimming pool just asking to be shredded, were skaters by the likes of Christian Hosoi, Ray Barbee, Jeff Grosso, and Steve Alba, and many more local Brooklyn and New York City skaters. Later on in the evening, the bands each played abbreviated sets to dedicated fans, celebrities, and to the skaters, who were still tearing up the bowl on the other end of the warehouse. The evening ended with an afterparty and an unparalleled optimism of what could be the best year of the Warped Tour yet, 2011.
