Circle Takes The Square, American screamo band from Savannah, Georgia, will be announcing release dates for their latest album, which as far as we know, is titled 'Ritual of Names'. The album is supposedly one song that will be split into seven tracks. It has also been noted that 'Ritual of Names' itself will be a part of a larger project titled 'Decompositions'. The band released their seminal album, As The Roots Undo, in 2004 and has not released anything new since. In 2007, the band toured with Thursday and Portugal. The Man.
Announcements are forthcoming..
"One month later, and we're back in the Rockstudio (Of Ever-Branching Paths) for another session to finish up some guitars, lay out some vocal basics and build layer upon layer upon... etc until sonic suffocation is achieved. We'll put up another video soon, and will get back in the cycle of frequent studio updates throughout the coming days...
Exciting announcements about the release will be unveiled in the not so distant future as well, so all you honey badgers out there, just keep your ears to the ground..." - CTTS, 02/19
...and two days later
"Greetings! It's a fine monday afternoon here in Brunswick, GA, with plenty of sunshine and a lovely breeze to greet us whenever we are able to briefly step out of the cave (which isn't very often). We enjoyed a visit from our cello playing comrade, Lydia, on Sunday, and are thoroughly enjoying her contributions to our little project... Meanwhile, guitar tracking is underway. These songs are beginning to live and breathe on their own now and we can barely wait for their eventual release into the wild.... we've just about mapped all of the Forking Paths, and guitars for Spirit Narrative appear to be in the bag, so things are looking up(side down)". - CTTS, 02/21
