Black Bananas announce debut LP, release first single, "Rad Times"

The late standup legend Mitch Hedberg once explained how bananas were the opposite of traffic lights: "With a traffic light, green means go, yellow means slow down, and red means stop. With bananas, green means 'hold on,' yellow means 'go ahead,' and red means, 'where the f*** did you get that banana at?!?'"

Hedberg had no opinion on black bananas. Or the proper noun form, Black Bananas, which is the name of Royal Trux and RTX founder Jennifer Herrema and her fellow band members.  The group will release its debut album under the new name January 31 on Drag City.  It's called Rad Times Xpress IV.  The first single?
