Adele's '21' just became the highest-selling album in seven years

The latest Billboard numbers show that Adele’s 21 has become the best-selling record since 2004. Adele’s smash-hit has now sold 5.28 million copies, higher than any other album since 2004.

Usher’s Confessions sold 8 million copies in 2004, so Adele’s still nowhere close to overtaking it (unless someone wants 2.73 million copies of 21 for Christmas). 21 sold significantly more than the number two spot, Born This Way, which sold 2.03 million copies. Merry Christmas, Adele.
