Music video: ESG - "What She Came For" (Franz Ferdinand cover)

Here’s yet another music video from the Franz Ferdinand Covers EP. This one was actually out yesterday, making it number two of three (Monday brought LCD Soundsystem’s “Live Alone” and today Stephin Merritt’s “Dream Again”). This video comes from 80s funk girl-group ESG (Emerald, Sapphire, and Gold).

ESG do an appropriately groovy version of “What She Came For” from Tonight: Franz Ferdinand. The Konx Om Pax-directed video is full of 80s effects, stop-motion, balloons, and triangles. Check out the ESG video and the Franz Ferdinand original below.
