Drunken supergroup Diamond Rugs released their first song, “Christmas In A Chinese Restaurant”, a couple of weeks ago. Now the tragic holiday track has its own music video. The band - made up of John McCauley (Deer Tick), Robbie Crowell (Deer Tick), Ian Saint Pé (Black Lips), Steve Berlin (Los Lobos), Handy Morris (Dead Confederate), and Bryan Dufresne (Six Finger Satellite) – is currently working on their full-length debut.
The video shows McCauley hanging out, drinking Foster’s, and drawing all over his face. As previously reported, the crew’s first show will be at the Earl in Atlanta on the 29th. The new album is due out sometime this Spring from Partisan Records. Check out the video below and McCauley’s solo version under that.
