Check out Django Django's "Default" & Walls' remix

Londoners Django Django are set to release their new single in just a few weeks. The track, “Default”, and its accompanying Walls remix are already floating around the Internet. The original version sounds like an 80s Brit-pop track with an electronic sensibility. It’s weird and experimental but also a lot of fun.

The Walls remix is way more ambient with vocals set way below the slowed-down backing track. Both versions (plus remixes by JD Twitch Tom Furse of the Horrors) are due out January 16 from Because Music. Check out the original “Default” below and the Walls remix over at Pitchfork.
