Listen to "Spock" by Depeche Mode side project VCMG

Martin Gore and Vince Clarke, formerly of Depeche Mode, have come together again as a techno group called VCMG. After leaving Depeche Mode in 1981, Vince Clarke founded Erasure and Yazoo, while Martin Gore has been playing on his own. VCMG is releasing their first EP on December 13 via Mute Records and they’ve made the a-side, “Spock”, available to stream online.

“Spock” sounds exactly how one might guess: an electronic-dance track that sounds somewhat like Depeche Mode and Erasure. The group is working on their debut full-length with Mute, due out sometime next year. Check out “Spock” below. Via Pitchfork.
