The xx Announce New Album, Website

Today via their Facebook page, the UK group announced they had started recording a follow up to their much-praised debut. The post simply stated: "We have started recording our second album! We have also started a blog where we will post our inspirations + pictures + favourite songs. We hope you enjoy it! Lots of Love, The xx"
The group has kept busy since their self-titled debut dropped back in 2009, particularly Jamie Smith who recently Gil-Scott Heron's final album I'm New Here. Smith also created highly publicized remixes for the likes of Radiohead, Florence And The Machine and Adele. You can check out the The xx's aforementioned blog here. Not much on it as of now, just a few grainy photographs.
