Video: Ducktails - "Hamilton Road"
Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 2:36 PM On September 30th, Ducktails premiered the official video for his track "Hamilton Road" off of Duckatils III: Arcade Dynamics. Ducktails is the side project of Matt Mondanile, who is also known as the guitarist of New Jersey band Real Estate.
The video is perfect for the upcoming fall and will make anyone nostalgic for their suburban home and childhood friends. It features appearances by Martin Courtney of Real Estate, Katy Goodman of Vivian Girls (titled "Red"), and Evan Brody of Family Portrait.
Considering all of the people in the video grew up together, it makes sense that the video is compromised of them walking around a neighborhood, playing fake instruments, and hanging out in someone's house in Ridgewood, NJ.
According to the video description, the video was actually filmed on Hamilton Road, making it somewhat meta but endearing.
