Aaron Eckhart To Star In Dennis Wilson Biopic

Aaron Eckhart (Erin Brockovich, Thank You For Smoking) has officially signed on to portray Beach Boy Dennis Wilson in the upcoming biopic, The Drummer.

The film will not focus on Wilson's time with The Beach Boys, focusing rather on the last six years of his life up to his death in 1983. It was during this period when he released his legendary solo album, Pacific Ocean Blue.

The Drummer is slotted for a Spring/Summer shoot, and it has been reported that Eckhart is already learning how to play drums and piano in order to prepare for the role.
