Vivian Girls sign with Polyvinyl

After reporting late last night that Vivian Girls are almost finished with a new record and will be releasing it via an unannounced new label. It has been revealed that the Vivian Girls have signed to IL's Polyvinyl Records. The record label has released music from Of Montreal, American Football, Braid, Mates Of State, Owen and Matt Pond PA to name a few. An excerpt of Polyvinyl's announcement can be found below.
We're VERY VERY VERY pleased to announce that Brooklyn's Vivian Girls have officially signed with Polyvinyl! Their upcoming album, Share The Joy, will be released in spring 2011. As reported during an interview with Verbicide Magazine, Share The Joyis currently still being recorded with Woods' Jarvis Taveniere. On completion of recording Share The Joy, Vivian Girls will be heading out for a "3 Day Tropical Rock'n Roll Vacation" during the Bruise Cruise Festival on Feb 25th-28th, along with various side projects.
