@katie:

you mean two albums ago, not the last one. Ace Enders and a Million Different People released When I Hit the Ground about a year ago. It was so-so, but nothing like his previous works with I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business and The Early November. About half the songs were decent and the other half was tolerable, but had little to no replay value.

Apparently you missed his most recent release, The World We Know, as I Can Make a Mess... It was magnificently written and recorded. It seemed as if he took all the best songs he ever wrote and released them on a single cd.... err. minus rosary. that one was pretty subpar.

One thing is for sure; the fact that Ace has been able to release 2 EP's and 5+ full length albums to date, and still not lose his knack for great songwriting says a lot to his character and real love for music.

Keep em coming Ace, and we'll keep listening, even when they slowly go downhill like the right side of a bell curve, then drop off of the edge of the world.
