Vivian Girls lose drummer. Ali officially joins Best Coast?

Vivians Girls have announced that Ali Koehler has left the band. Ali has recently been touring with Best Coast and now has announced via twitter that this will be a more permanent position. Fiona Campbell of The Coolies & Coasting will be replacing Ali as the Vivian Girls drummer. Vivians Girls are currently in the middle of a European run, but will be making an area appearance at this years All Tomorrows Parties festival Septermber 5th. Best Coast have a bunch of upcoming tour dates including two NYC dates. One being next Friday at South Street Seaport and the other being at Bowery Ballroom September 29th.
