My Chemical Romance go American Idol

It's basically a fact that nothing is more punk rock than American Idol. Due to this, NJ's premier punk/goth/rock group, My Chemical Romance have of course lent their new single "Sing" to the unbelievably popular television show for use in commercial spots. Gerard Way told the Hollywood Reporter in regards to the deal that, "The offer was pretty much a no-brainer. Any kind of infiltration is great... It's something a lot of people are going to see and they'll hear the music which is the most important thing." The MCRidy ad apparently started running this past Saturday, so keep your eyes and ears open!
