The Feelies @ Maxwell's 7/2

The Feelies played their first of three sold out dates @ Maxwell's last night, July 2nd.  The band performed two sets (and a encore) filled with songs off all their releases.  The Feelies were flawless in terms of delivery and in terms of the evenings song selection. As we all know band reunions are many times less then stellar, especially if they have been broken up for more then a decade, but The Feelies performance is a token example of why bands should reunite.

The Feelies play Maxwell's again tonight and tomorrow (July 4th). After that their next scheduled show is September 11th w/ The Flaming Lips & Animal Collective @ Kutshers Country Club, Monticello, NY.
