Set Your Goals, Four Years Strong @ Stone Pony 7.23.09
Friday, July 24, 2009 at 12:48 AM Set Your Goals

Set Your Goals have been touring non stop for a few years now and last night you could tell how their hard work has paid off. The group opened to the sold out crowd with the single from their new record, "This Will Be The Death of Us" and then proceeded to play a long set that featured songs from both of their full lengths. With constantly being pressed up against the guard rails and asking for the crowds participation, Set Your Goals are professionals when it comes to making the crowd feel like they are a part of the performance. When it came to their final song of the night "Mutinity," the crowd exploded. Some people say there aren't many great rock bands these days, I'm guessing they haven't seen Set Your Goals live.

This was such a good show. More bands should play Stone Pony
dam, didn't think these dudes were that popular.
seriously, stone pony is an awesome venue. sucks that mostly shitty cover bands play there.
awesome setlist, wish I had a ride.
The first ??? in the SYG setlist was "We Do It For the Money, obviously" and the second ??? was "Goonies Never Say Die!"
Fixed. Thanks!
