Higher Giant (ex Token Entry, KD, Lifetime) 7" PRESALE

Al's Moustache, the latest 7-inch from New York / Philly's Higher Giant is now available for pre-order from Black Numbers.

The label, which is pressing 1000 copies on three colors (225 red, 275 yellow, 500 orange), will officially release the four song EP on August 11th, 2009. Each 7-inch will come with a free mp3 download. Additionally, Black Numbers is offering 30 exclusive package deals that include all three colors of the vinyl, plus a limited test pressing.

Featuring NYC hardcore fixture Ernie Parada (Token Entry, Grey Area, Black Train Jack), as well as Lifetime / Kid Dynamite / Paint It Black / Good Riddance drummer David Wagenschutz, guitarist Jason Lehrhoff (WARZONE, Grey Area) and Alex Volonino (The Arsons) on bass, Higher Giant follows up its debut EP, The First Five, with four more melodic blasts of hardcore-tinged punk. Definitely a must for fans of Parada's Grey Area, not to mention driving, catchy-as-hell, rough around the edges punk rock in general.

You can currently stream the song "See You Later, Chopstick" on Black Numbers' website while the band is streaming "Union Square" on their myspace page.

In related news, Parada recently contributed a song to the Carry The Torch: A Tribute to Kid Dynamite compilation. Featuring bands such as The Ergs, No Trigger, Sakes Alive!!, Comadre and This Is Hell - as well as Beartrap alum Broadway Calls, Static Radio NJ and The Wonder Years - the 39-song compilation includes covers of literally everything Kid Dynamite ever recorded. David Wagenschutz also contributed liner notes to the project.
