Fucked Up (featuring Andrew WK & Vivian Girls) @ Brooklyn Masonic Temple 11.5.09

Fucked Up

Fucked Up jumped on the recent trend of playing an album from start-to-finish last night in Brooklyn. The group performed their break-through album The Chemistry of Common Life, but of course Fucked Up were not going to just make this like any other show, so they recruited the help of Andrew WK (keyboards) and The Vivian Girls (back-up vocals). NJ's Titus Andronicus opened the show and they finally had a replacement lead guitarist making them sound better then ever live. For an elaborate review of the chaos that took place & videos go here.

great show. I heard shitty things about Titus Andronicus's live show, but I thought that they were dam good.

Fucked up were great as usual. Titus Andronicus were better now that they have a 2nd guitarist again. Pissed Party Hard didn't happen though. Overall amazing show. Can't believe it didn't sell out.
