Jeff Kummer covers "Absolutely (Story of a Girl)"

Former The Early November drummer, Jeff Kummer is finished recording his solo album. To hold you over while they get artwork, press and all that business stuff straightened out, Jeff has released a cover of Nine Days 90's MEGA-hit "Absolutely (Story of a Girl)". when i first started recording my album, i planned on doing a cover of "absolutely (story of a girl)" by nine days to use as an exclusive to help promote it. about a week after we tracked drums, i found out that a band called four year strong had also covered it for an upcoming release. i decided to scrap the idea and just focus on the album.

it was going to be a pretty basic cover, nothing much different than the original. since i never finished the full band version, i put up the demo that i recorded in my room. you can listen to it right here.

four year strong did a great cover of the song. be sure to check it out here and if you like it, pick up that album. i was listening to it the other day on the way to atlantic city (where i lost a ton of money). they covered the shit out of some really good 90's songs.
