Just to give you an idea of where all the bands were in their careers when this show took place...
Midtown was two months away from releasing Save The World, Lose The Girl, their debut on Drive-thru, which would later pick up distro through MCA.
Saves the Day had released their second LP, Through Being Cool two months earlier on Equal Vision.
Catch-22 was still supporting their debut record Keasby Nights, which came out in 1998 on Victory Records. They would release their second LP, A Lone in a Crowd the coming fall.
Hot Rod Circuit had just released their first record If I Knew Now What I Knew Then the September before. Through out the years, songs from the album such as "Weak Warm", "Remover", and "Irish Car Bomb", continued to stay fan favorites.
The Movielife were supporting their first LP It's Go Time, which just came out the year before. The band would release their break-through record This Time Next Year the following Halloween.
